Positive: This place was absolutely incredible! We started the Quilotoa loop from here and everything was perfect. The cabins are so cosy, and the views from the property are spectacular. The food is also delicious and they also do a sandwich for lunch, for a low cost, which was perfect for the hike. There are also 2 cats on the property and they were the cutest and most cuddly cats I’ve seen in Ecuador. I have no idea why people start the hike in Latacunga as you need to get a bus to Sigchos. We woke up in the morning and could start the hike straight away. One of the best accommodations we have stayed in Ecuador!

Positive: A great location for starting the Quilotoa loop hike - it’s a ~45 min walk from the village centre of Sigchos, but it’s in the direction you’ll be walking the next day towards Isinlivi. Cosy cabins with comfy beds, friendly host, and very good dinner and breakfast. Gorgeous views from the property across the valley. Hot water and WiFi worked for us! Highly recommend!

Positive: Very comfortable beds, beautiful views, and a charming atmosphere. The food was delicious, and the host was very kind.
Negative: There was no Wi-Fi, the water in the shower was cold, and it was also cold in the cabin. Although the breakfast was delicious, the order in which the dishes were served was quite unusual. We received the coffee at the very end of the meal, and the toast was served only after we had already finished the scrambled eggs. However, everything was very tasty.
Summary: The views were absolutely beautiful. It was great that they have a small shop where you can stock up on a few things.

Positive: Cristian was fantastic. Great food and views. Clean, comfortable rooms. Cats were a welcome surprise. Very enjoyable stay and good start to the hike.
