Positive: The staff and chef's service was 5-star. The dinner was amazing. The menu. especially breakfast is good for a weekend stay. We appreciated that they were creative with breakfast as we were booked for 4 nights. Sunset experience was beautiful, it's a pity mother Nature interrupted. The hottub was amazing, but prepare to pay extra R100 wood and firelighters after the 1st night.

Negative: Chalets needs major upgrades. Sewage smell from the bathroom after taking a shower or flashing made our stay unpleasant. It needs urgent attention The bathtub needs to be changed. Unfinished plastering or painting in the bathroom.

Summary: It's a nice establishment with friendly staff but the chalets needs maintenance

Negative: Bar fridge didn’t work. We only got house keeping once, after having to ask for it. We were then only informed housekeeping is done during breakfast, hubby and I skipped breakfast first day so no one came. We didn’t get housekeeping for the entire 4 days even after requesting this multiple times. The male owner is also very arrogant - rude. Basically said I didn’t pay for an activity that I paid for two weeks in advance and when I showed him proof he just said “oh” … after screaming on the phone to his staff “she DIDNT PAY” and he didn’t know they had him on speaker, he’s entire approach was off.

Summary: Stay - wonderful , views wonderful, food and waitresses wonderful - male owner and housekeeping zero.
