Our lodge is located at an elevation of 5.2 feet. Direct access to the central slopes - Ski-in/Ski-out access available. Parking and elevators are just steps away. Relax in the hot springs. Welcome to the premier accommodations at Shiga Kogen. Driving directly to the front of our facility is prohibited. Please park at the Hoppo Onsen Bus Stop, and we will pick you up. *Parking is free of charge. Our facility does not provide vehicle towing or rescue services. *Shuttle service is free for check-in and check-out. During your stay, a paid shuttle service is available. We can take you to the bus stop or nearby restaurants. The restaurant mainly serves buffet-style meals for breakfast and dinner. There are no restaurants or shops within walking distance.

Positive: I can highly recommend this hotel! I stayed here for 2 nights and it felt like I was at home. The owner of the hotel is the kindest and most welcoming person I’ve met during my travel so far. He gave me so many helpful recommendations for Yamanouchi and Nagano and told me many interesting things about Japanese culture. Despite this hotel is usually known for its great winter sport location I had a wonderful time here in October (without snow). The hotel is surrounded by natur and a scenic view of the mountains and offers a large lobby area and 2 Onsen with a wonderful view and calming atmosphere. There are 3 different gondola stations near the hotel that promise a good view and let you experience to “fly” over the mountains. The city centre of Yamanouchi and the snow monkey park can be reached by bus and are perfect for a day trip. I’m very grateful for my stay here and would always choose this hotel again in the future (with and without snow). 本当にありがとう！愛をこめて。
