Summary: Stunning location, room nice and clean, food lovely though limited menu, good beer, good selection of whiskey. Very enjoyable stay

Summary: Seemed very expensive for a small room at £190 with no breakfast. For a NC500 overnight stay dinner looked very expensive at £60 a head. Not a lot of other food options. Lovely property in a beautiful spot but you pay for it and for these prices it needs a bit more attention to detail.

Summary: We stayed in two different rooms. The first room was on the top floor and very small with a slanted ceiling and the bed was a small double bed so we weren’t that comfortable. The second night we stayed in one of the bigger deluxe rooms on the first floor, which was much nicer. The dinner in the restaurant was delicious and the service was excellent.

Summary: Mike, behind the bar, was so knowledgeable. He helped make our evening enjoyable trying new whiskeys and sharing his expertise. Breakfast and breakfast service was wonderful.

Summary: Lovely old grand building in an a beautiful setting- lochside with views to beat any! Friendly staff, great meal. A great location to explore some unique countryside from. Large enough to feel like a well equipped hotel, but small enough to feel exclusive and special. Older room, but felt authentic and comfortable.
