Positive: Well orgenized room with everything you need. The father of the family is very nice and helpfull, have good recomendation and helps you in anything you need. Good breakfasy.

Negative: The eldest son who helps the father with money bussiness is very greedy and bad vibe. . I was a short time before my flight and they agreed to accept dollars, but suddeny in the morning he refused to acceopt dollar bill, claiming that the bill is not the newest edition (a bill that all the places in srilanka agree to take). Also his behavior concerning money is agressive, coming to you with unpleasant gestures in the middle of breakfast and changing things we already agreed about in the evning. Too bad that the father is so nice and gentlenan and know how to deal with guest, while the son is actually ruins the good atmosohete.

Positive: Chaminda and his family are the best! Extremely friendly and always there to help when needed. Their homestay was one of the best we had stayed in Sri Lanka. Great rooms in good location, great breakfast and everything very clean. Thank you so much Chami for taking us everywhere and being so welcoming! We hope to come back soon! Sophia and Marije

Positive: We were welcomed by a very friendly and helpful owner. The room itself has some issues. The TV has only 1 (barely) viewable channel due to a bad antenna cable. A very hard bed (thinnish mattress on creaky wooden boards)

Positive: My stay was wonderful. The room was lovely, clean and a decent size. In particular the bed was very comfortable. The hosts couldn't have been kinder. They let me borrow an umbrella (as it was very rainy!) and recommended an Indian restaurant in the nearby town which was possibly the best Indian food I have ever eaten. They also drove me there free of charge. They put on a delicious traditional Sri Lankan breakfast early the next morning as I was leaving for an early train, and took me to the train station. I also accidentially left my phone in their car, and they rushed back to get it to me before my train departed, for which I was so so grateful. I had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend Shevyhaws.

Negative: Not easy to find the entrance. No signs to put you in the right direction (but the owner went out immediately to meet us)
