Positive: A recently opened hotel which was beautifully appointed… the room was huge with a wonderful view of the lake, was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. Basic facilities for tea and coffee, water and bathroom were provided. There was good casual dining options in the foyer on the ground floor with what looked like beautiful Chinese restaurant on the lower floor although we did not get to dine there as it was closed. The staff tried to be very helpful although struggled a bit with English language. The location was a bit remote, however perfect for our purpose which was to attend an event at the nearby Water Sports venue for the World Rowing Championships.

Negative: The daily room cleaning was not complete, often leaving behind cups and glasses we had used but perhaps this was just teething problems of a newly operating hotel.

Positive: The breakfast was wonderful with a wide selection of food.

Negative: Everything was great. Can't really think of any suggestion that would make it better at the moment.

Summary: Had a great experience and If I ever have to come back, I definitely would stay there again.

Positive: Amazing breakfast buffet or cooked to order. Mix of Chinese and western. The gym and indoor pool areas are resort-like, spacious and so clean. The staff are friendly and so eager to help. Didi was available quickly The surrounding roads are landscaped with trees and gardens with bike paths to enjoy in the shade. Very close to Zhujaijaio Ancient Water town so you can visit in the evenings when the crowds have gone.

Negative: No door on the toilet in the room.
