Positive: We've been quite a few times in the Sheraton Airport - and it has never disappointed us. This time we noticed that the room had new beds/mattresses. Great start. And when we went for a meal in the hotel restaurant, the food was lovely, too. The location is fantastic (the hotel is part of the airport), the rooms are well-proportioned and quiet, the WiFi is good, the bathrooms are clean and sufficiently stocked with all the gels/conditioners/shampoos one needs. And unless you are staying during one of Düsseldorfs trade fairs, the prices are perfectly adequate, too. We'll be back.

Positive: The hotel staff were very lovely. Even just when you would walk past the cleaners in the hallway, they would give you a wave and ask how you were. I really liked the outdoor areas and the little area with the turtles. It was a cute little surprise when we checked in. The robot minibar Jeeves was not working. However, he was a cute addition and I'm sure when he is working it is a fun experience. The hotel itself was lovely and clean. The room's nice and big and room service was always done to a top-tier standard.

Negative: At check in, the hotel asked if we wanted to include breakfast in our stay before stock. I asked how much it would be and the receptionist said it would be €7 per person per morning. I thought this was a really good deal so I said yes. He then asked for my card and got the machine set up for me to pay. I thought the amount was a bit high but I assumed that it would be some sort of deposit for things like the mini bar. However, after leaving and getting my bill, I realised that I had actually been charged around €40 per morning for both me and my partner to have breakfast. The breakfast itself was great, yes, but it was not worse €20 each for what was essentially continental buffet breakfast. I attempted to contact the hotel afterwards and they told me that it has always been this price. I told them that the receptionist told me otherwise and therefore this is false price advertising. If we had known the true price in advance, we were definitely not have accepted the offer as we would have just gone to the restaurants at the airport across the road and got in much better breakfast for a much cheaper price.
