Positive: The rooms nice , clean and the breakfast ist really good!

Negative: The pool is closed since a half year and will not open anymore - they do marketing with it, but don’t operate it anymore. It was the reason firmly I’ve booked it ! Frequent drunken Chinese people on the floors , personal at front desk speaks bad English

Positive: I have stayed at this hotel four times and always had a great experience. Although most staff do not speak English, the level of service is excellent. There are always English-speaking staff on reception. The breakfast is very good with a wide selection of food, the dinner buffet is also good if you can't be bothered to go out. Some good restaurants in the local area and it's an easy trip by taxi/underground to Nanshan and Futian to get to big malls such as Coco Park. Also only about a 15-minute drive from the airport. The rooms are nicely furnished and of a good size. If you stay more than one night they will leave a flask of fruit tea and a small cuddly toy (?!) on your bedside table every evening.

Negative: The gym was refurbished in 2023, and has lots of new equipment... but it doesn't open until 9am, which is not very helpful if you are a business traveller and need to get out to meetings.

Summary: Great hotel with excellent food in a convenient location.
