Negative: The bathroom was too far from the rooms if you need to go to the bathroom at night . and having only one for the 6-7 rooms is not good . Did not like it .

Positive: The peaceful feel of the place, the nice sky, the possibility to sit by the fire. The owner provided by email an extensive list of suggestion about food and activities. Lodging in the tents and the wagons had an original feeling and there was ample space between them. We were lucky to experience a storm while staying there and the lodging felt like a nice refuge during it. The place is close to the town of Page, AZ and to the horseshoe bent of grand canyon.

Negative: The obligation to check in before 18:00 was extremely difficult to fulfill especially if driving from far away. It is definitely advisable to do so in order to be oriented and enjoy the atmosphere of the place, but we believe it should not come as a rule especially if you plan to stay for more than one nights. We found the chemical toilet uncomfortable, smelly and of doubtful hygiene. We opted to use restaurants' toilets when possible. The sink to wash face and hands is attached to the shower building but out in the open, away from the toilet with no light or a place to put your toothbrush or hang a towel or the portable lantern. Some light leading to the tents would be nice. A negative is also the lack of a spot to charge the phones or camera batteries. As we arrived late, the welcoming of the hostess was rather formal and we had no chance to discuss about dine people, their culture and their current state, the reservations system etc although we would like to.

Summary: It felt like going free camping in the wild, although in the price of glamping.

Positive: Sunrise and sunset views Rustic, simple breaky, loved the coffee Had the best sleep in a month, aooo comfy!!

Negative: Bit strict on the rules but understandable Could use steps into sheep wagon Toilets a bit far from wagon, toilets need lighting up at night

Positive: The setting was fantastic. We had the Bell tent and it was so incredibly comfortable. The family was delightful to talk to. We learned so much about the Navajo people. Peaceful about the property that you just can’t explain.

Negative: There was absolutely nothing I didn’t like. Was absolutely the highlight of our stay. We were out for 10 days at a different properties, but this was by far the best.

Summary: Unique experience highly recommended for anyone interested in learning about the Navajo nation

Positive: Magical experience! Although we were "glamping" in the middle of February and during a snowstorm, the woodstove in the center of the Hogan - a traditional Navajo mudhut - kept us warm and cozy. It was a real privilege to experience a night in an authentic Navajo Hogan on a property that is breathtaking. Baya and her husband spare no effort to make your experience as amazing and enjoyable as possible. If you are open to the experience and put aside the need for typical creature comforts you will be greatly rewarded.
