Positive: We especially enjoyed our conversations with the owners, Mr. Shankar and Ms. Kavitha. They supported us with our requests and answered our questions tirelessly. Our room was big, clean and comfortable. The location, tugged a little away between the rice paddies, is very peaceful and ideal to explore Hampi using a mode of transportation such as a local auto rickshaw. We would certainly love to come back.

Positive: The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Kavita and Ramu were extremely welcoming and helpful in organising a driver to aid us in seeing all the sights during our stay. Kavita also recommended restaurants for us to visit whilst in the area. Breakfast was tasty.

Summary: We had a fantastic time in Hampi which was aided by Kavita and Ramu.

Positive: Ramu and Kavita were wonderful hosts! We felt welcomed from the start as they showed us our lovely room! They helped us organise a driver for the two days to see the sites in Hampi and sorted out food orders with the local restaurants for dinner. Breakfast was a delicious masala omelette and toast which was cooked in house. The home stay is set in beautiful greenery. Thanks for a wonderful time!

Positive: Hosts gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home. They were flexible and very understanding when we found all the ATMs were closed due to the festival. They arranged a guide who showed us around the area. They proved a good breakfast and cooked us dinner one night - delicious! .

Negative: Our original room was not available but the substitute was fine.

Positive: We had a great time here at Shankar’s homestay. The hosts reached out in advance to ask if we would like help organising a rickshaw which they happily provided! We arrived very early and they were very accommodating and helpful. We were short for time and they helped lll us decide the best options for our limited time in hampi. The location of this homestay is perfect as it’s at the centre of all the core sites to see and very close to a lovely village called Anegundi which we explored renting bikes from a local shop near the homestay. Rooms were very spacious and clean. I would recommend this as your go to accommodation for your stay in Hampi! We can’t wait to visit again, thank you!

Positive: Charming home stay set in lovely gardens, less than 10 minute walk to the village and around 2km from Hampi which is an easy cycle ride. Your hosts are generous and warm, helping to organise activities and providing meals as well. The room I stayed in was cool with ceiling fan working, it was sufficiently cool that AC wasn’t required by me but is available in the rooms if needed. Overall excellent location, lovely surrounds and fantastic hosts. I would gladly stay again and extended my stay for a further three days after my initial three day booking was complete.
