Positive: Room was large and well-decorated in typical old-school Shangri-La style. Hotel staff are helpful and friendly. ATM Machine in the Lobby which is helpful for international travellers.

Negative: Nearest convenience store is a bit of a walk away - this is inconvenient in a -25 degree winter!

Positive: I had a room facing the river. Superb view . The buffet breakfast on level one was good with wide selections .

Negative: Towels were not changed although I had put them into the bath tub. Room maid just folded them again ! But so hygienic!!!

Positive: Nice location along the river. The hotel is a short drive from Sun Island. It is also a short drive to the main tourist spots of Saint Sophia and Zhongyang street. Bedroom was consistent with the photos. Helpful staff.
