Positive: Ambience n hospitality very good.it was a pleasant stay.

Negative: When i booked showed breakfast but later was informed it was available on extra charges. Property n owners are very good but the road up there is bit steep n scary if cars come from the other side but will still like to rebook

Summary: Altogether it was a pleasant stay.

Positive: Beautifully set up place. In very good condition and thoroughly clean. No mold or dampness in the room. Stunning view of the Kanchenjunga mountain from the rooms and the balconies. Super friendly and helpful owners. Nice location a little up the hill, yet close to the center.

Negative: Mattress was a little thin, but still had a good sleep.

Positive: First and foremost I really really liked the warm and helping nature of the host ! He's such a sweet person . We were already out of luck as were unable to find a decent stay at mirik. Finding sewans place definitely felt like a blessing! It legit felt like home away from home . Our room was very neat and clean , the interior , the decor upto my taste , it shows exactly how much thought and effort they have actually put into it . And the food , so glad we decided to order from their menu 😋 very wholesome , homely , tasty food ! Overall I really really enjoyed my stay ! I'll definitely visit again.

Negative: I stayed for a night so there wasn't anything as such to not like . Wish I could stay longer!

Positive: If someone wants serenity, Sewan's Homestay in Mirik is the place to be. The room was meticulously arranged. The balcony had a great view of the lake. The house has so many interesting books. The reading room is intricately arranged. The food that was served was also very homely. Everything was clean.

Negative: The place is at a midpoint between the lake and the monastery on a hill (5-10 minutes walk each way). So, if you are aged, you might need to rent a vehicle from the lake to come to the place.

Positive: Very very neat and clean. The linens were very clean. Good view of Mirik Lake and surroundings from the balcony. Though on a steep climb, our car could reach upto the door of the home stay. The food was simple home cooked and hot. Served quality Darjeeling tea in big cups. Slippers were available. Nice sitting area with a wide choice of books. Punctual about dinner and breakfast time. Tshiden was very helpful and accommodating. The homestay was in a residential quiet area.

Negative: Mainly the beds (we took 2 rooms) were not wide enough for 2 adults - Tshiden said they would change the beds soon. The room door wouldn't stay closed unless locked. The bathroom door too wasn't easy to handle.
