Positive: What a special place to stay. Enormous hallway and lounge with a wonderful fireplace ( bring extra wood) . A real throwback to another time with modern touches ( ie the bathrooms and kitchen ). Made for a great relaxing stay.

Positive: It had lots of character and great spacious areas. The hosts were very friendly and topped up our wood for the fire. Amazing place to get away from the city.

Negative: I’d make sure if you are coming in the winter that you bring blankets and hot water bottles as it gets very cold even with the heating on.
