Positive: Very comfortable with plenty of space. Clean, quiet and warm. Well equipped kitchen and also close to several good cafes, pubs and restaurants. Nice large living room for whole family to spend time together.

Negative: TV was not “smart” so we couldn’t stream from our Netflix subscription.

Summary: Lovely venue for a family get together; comfortable house in a wonderful location.

Positive: The location is just perfect in the centre of Southwell and next to both the Minster and the recreation ground. The space is quirky and large and we found the soundproofing inside the house very good.

Positive: Marlene is organised and thoughtful - welcoming note with wine and beautifully made beds. Plenty of space. The location is wonderful. Southwell is stunning. The Cathedral is world class and has its own unique atmosphere that makes you want to keep going back whether religious or not. Newstead Abbey is a must and 30 mins away. This was a very special weekend not least because you feel like a local in this wonderful town if only for 48 hours.

Negative: Whats not to like? The building is not architecturally beautiful. That said you cant see that when you are inside.
