Positive: This house is a real hidden jem, a bit far away from Lisbon, but definitely worth going. If you want to to escape civilisation for a while, this is a place for you. We spend a lovely weekend with our friends in a quiet and peaceful atmosphere of the house. The house is fully equipped with everything you need, it has enormously spacious dining area, two fireplaces, a lovely terrace with a barbeque zone and a breathtaking forest view. Neibourhood is quiet, but you have a lot of places to go: two ancient castles in 15 mins drive, railbike marvao (google it) in 25 mins and a lot of hikes and waterfalls also in a close distance. Actually one hiking path starts right from the house - this is an easy 1,5 hour hike around the lake. Host are beautiful and very welcoming, also offering you lots of options - dinner, wine tasting, massage etc. Guys are also producing wine and you can taste it anyway as 1 bottle is a welcome gift. I never put 10 out of 10 in my reviews but this place broke my heart.

Negative: Bed was a little bit too soft for me. And the linen is not cotton, but made from fleece (it could be cold during the night, so that's a feature, not a bug).

Positive: Loved the decoration of the house and all appliances and equipment are brand new. Also loved being in nature with the stream in the garden. Excellent hosts.
