Summary: We always struggle finding somewhere we can stay with our 3 medium sized dogs (bc of weight, too many, breeds) but our dogs were welcomed with no concerns! There was even a fenced off yard so we could let them out from time to time. We were needing a relaxing weekend getaway from our busy city in Fort Worth, TX and that's what we got and more! Chuck and Klara thought of everything, even treats for the dogs! There's a lot to do on the property without having to leave but are close by many things if you decided to venture out. The place was clean, and comfortable. We are so glad to have found a place to bring our dogs and get away from city life. Being an animal sanctuary was a huge bonus because it was so fun to watch all the animals around us! We can't say enough about how great this place is and we cannot wait to make another trip there.

Summary: My wife and I stayed in June 2024 and had a wonderful time. Chuck and Klara are attentive hosts, and the cabin and grounds have tons of amenities that have been well thought out. It is clear that the hosts have attempted to anticipated every need and comfort their guests might want, and have sought to provide it for them. While it was great for a relaxing weekend with each other, we are excited about taking our kids in the future. The pool, playground, animals, trails, and so many other things make it the perfect place to get away with your family. Breakfasts far exceeded any expectation that we could have had. Everything was made from scratch and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend that anybody look for some peace and serenity go to Serenity Acres. It's beautiful, conveniently located close to good restaurants and grocery stores, as well as a quick drive to Robber's Cave and multiple outdoor activities. Again, the hosts are amazing. You will not want for anything during your stay. We had an amazing time.

Summary: The hosts were incredible! They catered to every need and want. They prepared and served delicious breakfasts every morning and the cabin was an oasis. And finally to be surrounded and being able to interact with all the sweet animals was awesome. We will be back!

Summary: If your not use to being loved on your in for a treat! Sometimes it’s hard for me to receive help. The hosts kindness softened me up a little. I’m raising my nephews and every question and request from the kids were answered with joy and happiness to serve! Our dogs are a source of comfort, so to be able to stay in a place where they had two fenced in areas run around. These guys thought of everything. Even the way the fence opened so the dogs could stay blocked in while I carried in our things. Breakfast was wonderful! To have a homemade meal brought to your front door was incredible. The whole place is so peaceful and we slept very well on the beds. Loved it, can’t wait till we can go back.

Summary: Chuck and his wife are the best host EVER! Beautifully cabin thats fully stocked so no need to even leave...The pool and hot tub are super clean...We stay at alot of cabins and this stay was by far the best ever.. Oh....They make you homemade breakfast of your choice..Best biscuits and gravy ive ever had!
