The Space:
This house is located on several acres, some fenced off for horses. Chickens roam freely. There are several apartments in the house, but this is the first finished one. "Sequim Sunrise Apartment" is a 1 bedroom with a living-dining room and fully equipped, gorgeous kitchen. It is equipped with a propane stove, refrigerator, microwave and gourmet coffee setup. The nicest view is in the bedroom - stare at the mountains in bed. The space is filled with tasteful decor. The main bedroom has a king size bed, and in the living room there is a folding futon.
Driveway parking very close to your entrance. Lovely landscaping enhance the experience. The heat pump provides both heat and cooling. There is a free, shared washer and dryer in the building, but not in the unit.
This corner apartment faces the east and south. There are a few steps up to the front door, the unit is on one level with no one above.
Please be aware, the bed is high, 37" above the floor.
A bucolic & private setting but close to Sequim's west side amenities such as Walmart, Costco and a few restaurants. The Olympic Discovery Trail is out the back of the property. The property is shared with horses, cows, chickens and a few other people (in other units) so you may hear sounds of the country.
Important note before you book: Guests are required to complete the Check-In Form provided by Brigadoon Vacation Rentals as a mandatory step to finalize their reservation. To ensure a smooth check-in process, a valid government-issued photo ID must be attached to the form.

Day trips to the Olympic National Park, Lake Crescent and Pacific coastal areas are all within a 45 minute to 3 hour drive from the home. Sequim itself hosts several walking beaches, the Dungeness Spit, Olympic Game Farm and wonderful Lavender Farms throughout the valley. Take a bike ride through the valley or along the Olympic Discovery Trail and enjoy thick forests of cedars, an old railway trestle bridge across the Dungeness River and views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
In the evenings, enjoy dining out at one of Sequim's many fine dining establishments from fresh Italian food at Tedesco's, fresh seafood at Salty Girl's or Dockside Grill to Mexican fare at Jose's Famous Salsa. For a local brew or cider, consider checking out the Peninsula Tap Room. Or, if you seek a more lively nightlife, Seven Cedars Casino is just down the way and hosts live music and Las Vegas style gaming.

Summary: Had a wonderful stay. Used as base for olympic np. Hoh forest 2.5hrs, lake crescent 1 hr, hurricane ridge 1 hr. Walmart grocery open to 11pm, safeway and costco all really close.

Summary: This is a wonderfully peaceful and comfortable place to stay in the Sequim area. It is beautifully furnished with modern amenities and plenty of storage space. The gourmet kitchen has everything you could need, including some food, coffee, tea and a well stocked spice cabinet. There are also lots of extras such as DVD’s, puzzles, books, office supplies, batteries, first aid kit and more. The Mountain View is beautiful and it’s a great place to see the sunrise and the sunset. All this and it is only a few minutes from stores and restaurants but is tucked down a rural road hidden from the main road. I highly recommend staying here when visiting the Sequim or Port Angeles area.

Summary: This was an ideal place to stay conveniently located in the area we were looking for a house to buy. My sister lives about 2 miles from here. Kitchen had everything we needed, the bedroom was beautiful and we got used to using the step stool to get on top the mattress. It was a high bed. Main room was pleasant to hang out in with fireplace providing warmth and ambiance. The owner was friendly and helpful and her dog always welcomed us home. Will recommend it to others
