Positive: We stayed for two nights in a beautiful Deluxe Villa at Seljalandsfoss Horizons and absolutely loved it. Everything was very clean and thoughtfully furnished, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the breakfast was excellent. We were even lucky enough to see the Northern Lights right from the property.

Negative: A few small issues: the ceiling light in the living room was very dim and kept getting brighter and darker, the living room was quite cold while the upstairs room was very warm, and the shower was cold in the evening. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay.

Positive: The view was amazing, of course. The studio was clean, well designed, and had a separate bedroom with bunkbed, perfect for our toddler. The kitchen has a small dishwasher and a good coffee machine. Coffee capsules were provided and replenished. The bed was very comfortable. We were lucky enough to see the northern lights from here 💚

Negative: Our shower didn’t drain on the first night. We left a message and it was fixed the next morning. Crockery was way too limited: just 4 glasses, 4 coffee cups, etc. For a 4-person apartment. Since we were 3 people, we constantly had to do dishes by hand (not going to use the dishwasher for 2 glasses). No tea cups, and the drinking glasses and coffee cups were not suitable for tea. No oil for cooking. No shampoo and conditioner provided. We had a great stay and would definitely return, but at this price (most expensive accommodation we ever stayed in), we had expected these little things to be taken care of. Even our budget hotels in Iceland had shampoo and conditioner.

Positive: These are wonderful places to stay near Porsmork and route 1 along the southern coast! Beautiful design, very well done. We had the two room villa which was very comfortable with every amenity (bathrobes, nice shower, comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen). We were there in June with gale force winds and the little house was a quiet, warm respite. Nice and substantial breakfast delivered in the morning.
