Positive: Perfect for what I need, also brought my dog. Had a little garden in which my dog could wonder around with out the worry. It was very hot, could have done with some sort of fan.

Negative: The grounds were in the process of being completed so alittle messy but can’t complain.

Positive: Everything you need for a self-catering bed and breakfast stay. Easy location, easy parking. Small enclosed outside area, useful with a dog. Lovely shower room. Lots of tea, coffee, milk, and biscuits provided. All on one level. Friendly owner. Quiet neighbours. Fans, as the day we stayed was extremely hot! Very good price.

Negative: A mirror would be very helpful for use when drying hair - either in the bedroom, or over the fireplace; Perhaps 2 slimline bedside tables; A small coffee table in the lounge area; Garden area might benefit from a weeding, and area beyond a tidying, but this is reflected in price I guess. Very near M4, but that's also useful for some.

Positive: Great value and easy to get to main roads and motorway. Did what we needed for a couple of nights during the DW Kayak race event, and more practical than a hotel having its own washing machine! Good standard of cleanliness in bathroom and bedroom. Plenty of hot water. Washing machine efficient and new. Functional and overall good value if you ignore the visuals.

Negative: No cooking facilities other than a microwave. Shower control has seized completely now so unable to get it cooler than very very hot, but bathroom was clean. Would recommend replacing shower completely as doors kept falling off runners, and shower unit no longer functioning. Weird surrounding environment when you pull in that looks like a building site (work in progress) on a very large plot and old house being used as apartments. Thin walls as upstairs guests were very noisy but given how tired we were from travelling we slept through. The office chair in sitting room kitchen was a strange choice as was always in the way, would get rid of that.

Summary: Good value basic and clean apartment suitable for 2 or 3 people.
