Positive: Really recommend this hotel. The room was spacious and clean with great views. We especially enjoyed the free use of the hot tubs, pool table and darts board. The breakfast was great as well. A nice touch they offered was that you could write your room number down and they would notify you if the northern lights were visible :)

Positive: We loved our stay at Sel-Hotel Myvatn. The room was clean, the breakfast was delicious (and had many options), and the restaurant was perfect for dinner. We also loved relaxing in the sauna and hot tub. They brew their own beer next door, and the beer was fantastic. The greatest thing about the stay was the accommodating staff. They were so friendly and allowed a late checkout when the surrounding roads were closed due to a winter storm.

Negative: Nothing.

Summary: Top-notch hotel. Highly recommended!

Positive: Loved the bird collection. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Good was delicious and well priced. Breakfast was huge, tasty and fresh! Location was convenient and the small cafe and gift shop made for a great pit stop after exploring. Didn't get to use the hot tub but looked inviting!

Negative: Some extra hooks to hang up towels in the bathroom are always welcome :)
