Positive: Exceptionally friendly hosts, the whole family, and the dog(s) as well. Well prepared breakfast, whether you like it sweet or hearty. We could even bake our own waffles! Xtra: Enjoy the breakfast not in your wooden cabin, but right beside the living room in the light Wintergarten with an exceptional view to the lake!

Positive: superb location, we had a small wodden hut, well equipped but a bit small for 4 persons, storage space is limited, kitchen is excellent equipped, bath a bit small but fine, the breakfast is very good, lots of different offers and one has a fantastic breakfast room looking over the lake,

Positive: This guest house was well overpriced for what was offered. It was the second most expensive place we stayed during our trip to Iceland. There was no comparison to the most expensive hotel we stayed in. The lady at the reception was very friendly. The shared kitchen was OK. The views were great. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The blinds in the room were excellent for shutting out the light.

Negative: Sadly I do not usually give a bad report but I need to say it as it is. There was insufficient soundproofing between the cabins, I could here people next door talking quite easily. The cabin was extremely small, the smallest area we had stayed in during our 9 day trip. There was way too much furniture for the size of the room. Remove one of the chairs and add a fold down table. The bed was most uncomfortable as were the pillows. The shelf over the sink needs moving as you hit your head on it when washing. I feel ripped off by this guesthouse and would not recommend you stay here if you are on a tight budget. It certainly was not value for money sadly. There was no TV in the shared kitchen.

Negative: The bed was nice but the rest of the furniture was old and not in so good condition. Needs tobe updated. Especially the share kitchen felt very like old hostel style.
