Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Location was good with views of the lake in a forest area. Also having a hot tub and log fire. Also the owner was kind enough to let us in a couple of hours earlier than check in time.

Negative: The log fire hadn’t been cleaned out before we got there and there wasn’t a tray beneath it to clean it out after use that we could see, so we could not clean it either.

Summary: A nice break in a very peaceful location.

Positive: The location is amazing, the trees and surrounding area is absolutely beautiful. Many walks to do from your immediate area to 2 houra away. The Hot tub was great to recharge the body if you had been on one of the many walks throughout your stay. Huge basket of wood supplied to get the fire going.

Negative: If i had to say anything and clutching at straws here. There was no table to eat inside when it's raining, but space is limited so tough one.

Summary: Beautiful area and a nice site with a good social bar. walks and scenery are outstanding.

Positive: Lovely setting Lovely accommodation couldn't have asked for a better short break the cabin was clean quiet and cosy the hottub/jacuzzi was brilliant to relax in and in typical Scottish fashion it was cold in the evenings so we had the log burner on. Beds were comfy and we slept brilliantly.
