Summary: Everything was really clean, problem with bugs but that can't be helped.

Summary: It was amazing! The location is secluded except for the occasional hunter (Tis the season). We loved our stay. The only thing I would change for next time is potentially have a cleaner come the morning of check in to vacuum up all the bugs (lots of spiders, Japanese beetles, and box elder bugs inside the house upon arrival). A little mouse poop in the oven as well, but this is what is expected with a rustic location. We couldn't find the extra propane for the grill, so we will remember to bring some next time. Overall, a great experience!

Summary: The pictures do not do it justice! The property sits in a valley that is absolutely spectacular. The house is better than the pictures. The four seasons room is fantastic! The kitchen is well equipped. We kayak the Black River every year but this is the first time we stayed here and we will definitely be back!

Summary: Had a group of 5 for a low-key Bachelorette party. It was exactly what we needed. It was a beautiful spot that was peaceful and quiet. If I were planning a stay with kids, this would be a perfect spot for them to play outside and explore. Our entire group appreciated quiet coffee on the deck watching the wildlife. Great spot! Would recommend.
