Positive: The location. 1 hour drive north of Auckland airport, we wanted somewhere quiet to get over the flight from the uk. Perfect. The kitchen dinner and terrace are lovely. The air con is good and necessary. The owner, Danielle, is very friendly and the swimming pool is lovely.

Negative: It is a mini house. A bit tight on space for sorting your travel bags. The bed is large, but it does dip in the middle.

Summary: Perfect for the purpose. 40 min drive to tawharanui regional park where there are nice walls and good beaches.
