Summary: This place is all that is is advertised to be. Unrivaled view and the cabin is huge. Tons of amenities, and a bear that visited nightly. Those are the pros. The cons would be that a lot of the games in the game room need some updating and the sauna didn't work while we were there. But the property manager was responsive and checked it out for us among other things.Be very aware of the route it takes to get up to this cabin. It is way up there and the road is.....let's say daunting. It was so intense we didn't think we would leave until we checked out, but we did go into town one day and it got easier each time. But 4 wheel drive would've been great, It's no joke.

Summary: We highly recommend this property for large families. We had 17 people (9 adults and 8 kids) and never felt that we were on top of each other. Plenty of space to spread out. We ate most of our meals here and there was also plenty of space to eat together. Plenty of dishes, flatware, and drinkware also pots and pans. The kids loved the games and especially the Theater. It is awesome having everyone under the same roof as once the kids went to bed we were able to do game nights for the adults. In a hotel setting that isn't a comfortable option. The property contact was Scott and I can't say enough positive stuff about him. Any issue we had he replied quickly and came quickly to address them. We had bear visitors for the first few days, which was such a thrill for all of us. Also there is a bunny in the front bushes that came out daily. The driveway can be a little intimidating the first few times but then you get used to it. Awesome views from the deck. We didn't use the grill as it was cold, but the hot tub gets up to 104 and the pool was fun for the kids. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us which allowed us to make lots memories. Close to everything but far enough away from the crowds.

Summary: This house with the views and wildlife is absolutely amazing! We saw bears multiple times each day which was exciting for everyone. The upper deck was where we spent every night, enjoying the views, outdoors and company! The kids loved the pool, hot tub, and game room. Not one complained of being bored all week! While none of us in our large family had issues with the drive up, The road it is STEEP!! But the house and views make it all worth it! We will definitely be back and thank the hosts for the warm hospitality! What an incredible place!

Summary: Beautiful breathtaking views and great local attractions the Celesta Vista Lodge is great for a family location. This place is in a beautiful location. The drive up to the lodge is a bit of a challenge, but once you do it a few times it becomes easier. All that being said we couldn’t give it a 5 star rating, because there are a few (non-essential areas) that need some TLC. One being the theater room which was out of commission due to a bad bulb disappointing for the kids who were looking for movie night. Bring your bear spray. We seemed to have one bear, we named him Floyd for no reason, who was around several times a day. We found him multiple times in the grill on the upper deck outdoor kitchen or just show up out of nowhere in the driveway. Floyd even caught us off guard several times. We were sitting around the outdoor kitchen with several small children. Floyd came around the driveway crossed in front of the house to go off into the woods, so we thought. He came up the back stairway and came walking down the deck right at us. Floyd came within about ten feet before we could all scurry into the house. We watched Floyd climb over the furniture barrier on the backside deck stairs and climb down the wood posts supporting the outdoor kitchen. Floyd did not seem aggressive in any way you just need to be vigilant especially with children. To finish it still was a wonderful vacation spot and everyone fell in love with Floyd just from inside the house.

Summary: We loved the cabin - there were lots of fun areas and specialty rooms for hanging out. We LOVED the open kitchen/den area on the main level. Also enjoyed the wonderful deck on this level. The cabin also has a very nice enclosed back patio by the outside entrance to the pool house where my granddaughter could play. I know the owners do not live in the area so they told us that as guests, we are their best source for any maintenance that may need to be done. The cabin needs a little TLC which is understandable as time passes. A couple of closet doors (in one bedroom and in the pantry in the second kitchen) are hanging and not functional. In the refrigerator in the main, front kitchen, there are no shelves on the door. Also, the main dishwasher needs to be reinforced - it tends to slide forward when it is opened. In the double queen bedroom, when facing the beds, the one on the right has a loose frame and the mattress pops up when you get in the bed. On the back deck, the air conditioner compressor panel was off and had wires that were exposed. Celesta Vista is a unique, fun cabin that our family and friends enjoyed! It was a great place to stay for our wonderful vacation!

Summary: We enjoyed our stay after the linen / AC issues were addressed. Beautiful cabin with a nice pool and spa. Enjoyed the view and the game room where we spent a majority of our time there playing pool and cards. Had some laughs coming up the driveway with Nana screaming and crying as it is pretty steep. Unfortunately we did not see any wildlife. Overall a nice place to stay
