Former bar (Top of the Rock) was recently remodeled and converted into a vacation home. Open floor plan still has elements of the bar (pool table, dartboard, high top tables with bar stools) along with cozy feel of a home. Brand new kitchen, great room with 65” flatscreen TV, modern bathrooms upstairs and down. Lower level has three bedrooms which can sleep up to 8 people.
Beautiful panoramic views of the Mississippi River valley from the deck and inside the home. Since we are near the river, you will hear trains which will occasionally pass by.

Summary: This was our 2nd stay at the house in Brownsville. The house was great! The views of the river were awesome and the house was set up perfect for our group. It is an easy drive for our event in La Crosse. Checking in and out were easy. We look forward to booking again in the future.

Summary: This is our 3rd time staying here. It's a great spot to come down to see our grown kid and have everyone around. Enough to do in the house to not get bored if the weather is bad. Will be back as always.

Summary: This was a girls trip of five retired teachers from SW who wanted to explore Winona, Lanesboro, and Lacrosse. The house looks exactly as it does in the pictures. It was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed to have an enjoyable stay. The view from both the deck and the living room was beautiful. The host was easy to contact and made sure any questions we had were taken care of immediately. Be sure to visit Saxon Hall bar and grill in downtown Brownsville if you stay at this property. Great pizza and great service.

Summary: The home was beautiful, and a great way to spend some family time. There is a train that passes across the road, so if the windows are open you will hear it. We didn't hear it at all with the windows closed. The deck is beautiful and a great way to enjoy the view and some sun. We hope to return and make this a regular gathering for our family!
