Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

Summary: Hands down the best rental I’ve ever had while traveling. Plenty of accommodation with heaters, wood stove, windows that have us the perfect breeze, a great size fridge and even an oven! Had a few questions for the owners and got a response within the hour. I will absolutely be booking again, everything was perfect from the remote location to how spotless and cozy the place was.

Summary: It was just as advertised. Any minor inconvenience was clearly stated in the description. The price was right, the view was wonderful and the location to OURAY was perfect. Only complaint was very low water pressure, but it was definitely manageable. Highly recommend!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: After four nights, our stay was everything we hoped for. This was our third stay at this cabin and it certainly won't be our last. Summary: Location, location and location is the commonly know key to real estate and this property is no different. It is located halfway between Ouray and Ridgway, Colorado behind a hill in such a way that it can not be seen from the highway. You can not hear any of the noise from the highway. The cabin is fine for two people and the only small nit I have to pick with it that the bedroom is upstairs while the bathroom/shower is downstairs. It was nice to discover that there was a new flatscreen TV downstairs and also a handrail next to the stairs going to the bedroom. Also had wild turkeys roaming through the yard a couple of times a day. We look forward to staying here again.

Summary: Four Merriam’s tom turkeys came to visit every evening. A nice 5x5 Miley stopped by. No bears. Lots of cloud cover all week in Ouray, but was warm and sunny in Montrose. Every time we started to head to a hot spring we heard thunder. We found other fun things to do including the Black Canyon NP.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I would definitely stay here again in the future! The only thing that I absolutely did not like is there wasn’t any air conditioner. It got really hot almost everyday that we were there and it got really hot until late in the evening it would cool down and it felt great but there wasn’t even a window unit. If I had to recommend anything for the owners/rental company, I would definitely invest in some air conditioning!!

Summary: Celebrating 30+ years in a small secluded rustic cabin, we were mostly thrilled. Opening the freezer to find a container of chocolate Hagaan Daas ice cream welcomed us with smiles! There is no AC, but the owners had the box fans going downstairs and oscillating fan going upstairs. The view of the Rocky mountains from the bedroom window was fantastic.If the oak brush were trimmed back low, the view could have been enjoyed from the main level. We would have eaten outside, but the picnic table needs to be replaced. The instructions on trash removal were unclear, so we hauled it out ourselves. We were pleased with the kitchen set up, coffee, paper towels, etc. We even saw wild turkeys along with energetic chipmunks. We would come back. Thanks for opening up your cabin for rent.
