Summary: The home was well equipped. The layout was perfect for our family. Rooms are all very large. Dockage for our 37ft boat was perfect. The property manager was always there if I had a question. Would highly recommend this home

Summary: Upon our arrival we greeted by the caretaker and his wife who were very friendly & helpful. They showed us around & walked us down the street and up a block to another house with a pool. This was not how it was represented and we were disappointed as we have smaller kids who want to be in the pool nonstop but they assured us we had FULL access to the pool area for the duration of our trip. We walked back & forth several times each day to use the pool which was inconvenient especially when the kids wanted lunch, toys, etc. One the last few days of our trip when we went to the pool there were 4 men hanging out and drinking and this was uncomfortable for me & my girls (15 year old and 7 year old girls) as we wanted privacy- this is why we rented a house instead of staying at a hotel. We enjoy privacy- this was frustrating. The property was advertised with a ice machine which is not actually on the property. It is next door and we had to wait every morning for the caretaker to come unlock the garage for access. The AC in the house was horrible. The 2 bedrooms wouldn’t cool. They attempted to fix it but were unable so we had to sleep in the warmer air which made for horrible a nights sleep. The matttess were extremely uncomfortable so between the heat and mattress combo it made for sleepless nights. There were constantly workers on the property- again NO privacy. We have rented several houses and have always been satisfied, this was extremely disappointing especially with the amount of money we spent for this vacation. I would not stay at this property again. I would be better off at a hotel.

Summary: This property is extremely well maintained. The home is large, comfortable and has everything you need. The outside area is gorgeous and the canal dock is perfect. Jerry and his wife are excellent caretakers who were quick to help in any way. We are already planning a return trip.
