Summary: The property is ideally located for many of the beaches and in walking distance from dog-friendly beaches. The only drawback is no WiFi and terrible internet coverage locally.

Summary: We had a very great time in Brignogan and once again cordial we want to thank Francoise and Thierry. Both have welcomed us very warmly – with a bottle of wine and a very delicious meal (a self-made Breton sweet dish) - so we felt good from the first moment. The holiday cottage is very nice and originally furnished – nothing was missing. The half part of the house has an upper floor (the other forms a high room). Here (upper) our son enjoyed to watch DVDs (his own domain). I especially liked cooking on a gas cooker. You seek silence – you will find it in this beautiful little village – highlights included: A very beautiful beach, the Menhir Men Marz (an 8m high Stone, crowned with a Christian Cross), the small chapel Pol (a magical place), a pleasant church (Sainte Bernadette), a semaphore and of course the lighthouse Pontusval. Beautiful places embedded in fantastic and great rocks and a gigantic wildlife nature. You like flowers like Hydrangeas – You will love these places – Hydrangeas over and over. As the weather was really good we were swimming (12 times) at the beach (Plage du Crapaud). The water temperature was about 17 degrees Celsius. Aditionally we made many travels to the surrounding region. Therefore Brignogan is an ideal base. We aimed following places: In the South: LE FOLGOET (the wonderful cathedral Basilika du Le Folgoet (with the legend of Salaün)) BREST (the famous lift-bridge, the Tanguy-Tower and of course the Chateau of Brest) In the West: MENEHAM at Kerlouan (a house between big rocks / a beautiful coast) LILIA near Plouguerneau (a great view to the island I’lle de Vierge) ST. MATHIEU near Le Conquet (a lighthouse, a decayed abbey, a monument for mariners) POINTE DE CORSEN near Plourazel (a fantastic sea-view) PORTSALL (a calm and beautiful little seaport / a great viewpoint) In the East: ROSCOFF (an old corsair nest with a nice old town, an imposing cathedral) JARDIN EXOTIQUE de Roscoff (a beautiful exotic garden) CARANTEC (a wonderful seaside resort with excellent view-points – La Chaise du Cure / Pointe Pen Al Lann) All in all it was a great time. We will never forget it. Best regards from Germany (Siegen) Christoph, Tanja et Oliver
