In the peaceful, pretty village of Powfoot, it is a recently refurbished, two storey, Victorian sandstone house. The master bedroom overlooking the sea has a luxury kingsize bed and a second bedroom has comfortable twin beds. A spacious family bathroom has a jacuzzi bath and shower. A fifth person can sleep on a sofa bed in the cosy sea-facing sitting room which has a woodburning stove. The house has a well equipped, modern kitchen/dining room. A patio area in the front garden takes advantage of the coastal scenery while, to the rear is a patio and small private garden. A substantial garage offers storage for outdoor and sports equipment. Summary: A very nicely refurbished cottage with all necessary equipment and appliances. 50 metres walk to the mostly deserted beach. Not much to do in Powfoot itself, so driving is essential. Caravan park cafe very good and Powfoot hotel good if you don't have a dog.

Summary: The house was great, good sized rooms, comfy sofas and beds. Very well equipped kitchen with nice crockery. Terrific views from living room and bedroom. Powfoot is a quiet village, no shops but plenty of walks.
