Positive: Right on the water, corner unit so it was more private. Two bathrooms, which are so nice when you travel with friends. Very comfortable and nicely decorated apartment. The town was charming and it was a perfect spot to get in some hiking in the area.

Negative: No where to put your clothes -sort of living out of a suitcase. We pushed the large bed to the wall for floor space for clothes and in the room with two beds, our friend used one bed for her clothes. So we made it work. We were there for 4-5 days I think, so extended stays can be hard with lots of clothes.

Positive: This place is amazing. It is all about the view! Accommodations are very comfortable with plenty of room. Can walk to town easily. Wished we could have stayed longer

Negative: Minor hiccup with slow drain in shower and shade in bedroom that wouldn’t stay up.

Summary: Best place we stayed on our three week trip

Positive: View and the fact it was right on the water. Could walk to town as well. Well equipped apartment and perfect for us. Staff was helpful, especially when I couldn’t figure out how to get in at first. Loved it!

Negative: Parking was interesting. Not a lot of room for a car and winding around other cars is a concern. Also, this is not the property’s fault, but Henningsvær is hard to drive through due to narrow roads and lots of people. You had to drive through the town to get to the place and in the midday, was very difficult. But the place itself is great!

Summary: Would definitely come back if given the chance!

Positive: Beautiful view from the apartment, perfect setting and easy to get parking space. Easy self check-in and check-out.

Positive: Beautiful view from floor to ceiling windows in living room. Great location. Henningsvaer is a terrific base for exploring Lofoten. Comfortable beds, great shower pressure. Well appointed kitchen. Perfect for our family of 4.

Negative: The apartment is lovely with contemporary design; it would have been helpful to have drawers or shelves to keep our things orderly. There is a washing machine which was great after rainy day hiking - it would be helpful to have a drying rack. It was a unusual that we had to make up the beds ourselves - a small inconvenience. These are all minor notes. I would stay at this property again.
