Positive: Great location and ocean view and across from grocery store. Loved balcony!

Negative: Blinds on south side (dining and over sofa could not be adjusted. Someone left several messy handprints on walls of dining room; guest bath had a lot of splatters on doors and wall. Otherwise unit was clean. Only 1 beach chair available. Minor things overall. I disliked dealing with a corporation remotely, rather than directly with owner.

Positive: Over the last 20 years we have stayed in a unit at the Seawinds over a dozen times. We are very familiar with the property and the area. The kitchen in this unit was well equipped. The patio door slid open easily and I really appreciated the curtains in both the living and master bedroom. (Much better than the usual vertical blinds).

Negative: (These notes are from a persnickety traveler.) The property is definitely beginning to show its age and does not seem to be as well maintained as in the past. My initial impression of this unit was not positive. When we arrived the guest toilet looked like someone had thrown up in it and not flushed a second time. The bathroom sink had orange gunk around the basin washer. During our stay we noticed a black almost dirt ring forming around the master toilet bowl. Water issues?? There was no welcoming stack of linens or towels hanging in the bathrooms. I had to search under items on the top shelves of the closets to find additional towels. By the time I found additional washcloths I had already purchased new ones from the Beals outlet across the street. It is obvious that the bathroom rugs are not washed between occupants. Fortunately there are lots of towel rugs to place over the bathrooms rugs, but I suggest you get rids of those rugs. Placemats were thrown on the kitchen table in disarray, no centerpiece. I found an artificial plant in the corner of the bar that worked well. And please have them clean the welcome mat to the unit. It is covered in white lint and looks like it hasn't seen a vacuum in months.
