We are delighted to offer a spacious light one double bedroom apartment with sea view on one of the most sort after areas in Tazacorte. Located in traffic free promenade with its choice of restaurants and shops. It offers open plan kitchen/reception with white goods (two ring cooker) and TV. Balcony over looking the sea. Good bus service to Los Llanos and Santa Cruz de La Palma. Less than a minute to the Beach.

Nearby is the national park de la Caldera de Taburiente is the largest national park of La Palma, Spain. The diameter of the Caldera de Taburiente is 10 kilometers and the highest point is Roque de Muchachos (2426 m). In 1954 the Caldera de Taburiente was declared as a national park of Spain.
The national park is of volcanic origin and was formed by multiple eruptions.
Los Llanos de Aridane is the main town on the western side of the Island of La Palma, La Isla Bonita, in the Canary Islands.
It is a lively and thriving town in a wonderful setting close to the beaches at Puerto Naos and Tazacorte and to the entrance to the Caldera de Taburiente.
The town itself is a mixture of old world charm and the necessities of modern life. There are cobbled streets, a very old church, well restored Canary style buildings and ancient Laurisilver trees around the Plaza de Espana.
Los Llanos also has the facilities of a modern town with many shops, large supermarkets, restaurants, bars, several Internet Cafes. a large medical center and sports facilities.

Summary: Very clean, functional appartment with good sized balcony and comfortable matrasses. Not all lights working, stove hooked up in a not immediately obvious way, door handle askew - but what does that matter with the sun out and beach and reastaurants directly in front of the house? Super nice contact / key handover. (Not all images in add from local area, though.)

Summary: Fantastic location, overlooking the beach. Very close to about 10 restaurants. Quiet area. Supermarket next door. Good weather (early November), better than the north and east of the island. The apartment had everything we needed, including comfortable beds. Helpful and accommodating owner. My only recommendation for improvement would be a few more drawers for clothing. Easy on-street parking. We had a great week

Summary: We absolutely loved the location and the apartment was as shown as it was. It was ideal for my husband and I. Will definitely be back. A long way from Inverness in Scotland to London then another flight to LA Palma but worth all the travelling . Great time.

Summary: Out two weeks on La Palma were simply fabulous! Beautiful weather, beautiful nature, beautiful food, beautiful ocean, beautiful black sand, beautiful coccolobas, beautiful mountains, beautiful lava, beautiful apartment, beautiful everything! Very clean air that intensifies aromas of the pines, flowers, fruits. There are some pluses and some minuses, and some points can be both positive and negative. Pluses: + Great location. Most likely the best possible on La Palma. Any point on the island can be reached within an hour. + The beach is wonderful. 70m from the house. Clean. Warm "tamed" water. + A small supermarket and a pharmacy is on the ground floor + Restaurants and cafes are within 10 metres. + Clean, cozy apartment with comfortable beds. + No internet (yes, it can be a plus - you do not waste your time on purposeless surfing) + In the beginning of December, Puerto de Tazacorte was the warmest town on the island! + A lot of maps and brochures with information Minuses: o- Washing-machine was broken before our arrival and was never fixed. o- No Internet! The closest free Internet was in the center of Tazacorte (in the Dino supermarket) o- The restaurants are too close. The smell of frying fish was too annoying. Closing windows on one side of the apartment helped a bit. We want back! ;)

Summary: Let's get a couple of minus points out the way: With just a 2 ring electric hob and a microwave, self catering in it's true form is limited. Secondly, the mattresses on the 2 single beds aren't great. So the positives: Spacious apartment and clean. Helpful owner and her 'local reps' Ana and Beatrice will be on hand if needed. We stayed in Apartment 105, a first floor flat above the minimarket which has refridgeration units going 24 hours a day that didn't affect our sleep at all, nor did the local bars and restaurants. English is not widely spoken or written, so brush up on your phrase book. The coastal town is clean and friendly. Buses will get you about most of the island, with a taxi thrown in now and then. In summary, lovely island, lovely town, good apartment, so recommended.

Summary: Really lovely apartment. Location was absolutely perfect with regards to the beach and restaurants and bars. I loved the shared roof top as had such a lovely views of the ocean. The apartment was exactly what we needed. It was well equipped with a washing machine and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. I would definitely recommend this place and considering going back again for Easter if they have availability!!

Summary: Must thank Patricia for the standard of this apartment, it is clean, comfortable and well maintained. We are in our 60s, and like a mixture of selfcatering and eating out. The Luz y Mar was perfect for us.

Summary: A perfect place for a quiet holiday. Booking with Patricia was easy and quick. We booked a taxi for the transfer from the airport, and the driver was there to meet us. We were met and shown round the apartment, which was clean and just as advertised. Oranges, bananas and a bottle of wine were a nice welcome. Puerto is lovely, and we used nearly all the restaurants, which were excellent. Didn't bother with car hire, just used bonocards (get them from the bus station in Los LLanos) on the buses, which gave a maximum price for any journey of Euro 1.60 each. Travelled the whole island, which is beautfull. Walks are brilliant, but after 200/300 metres expect to climb, sometimes quite steeply. Weather perfect for the whole fortnight Will definite go again.
