Positive: Beautiful location. I was born and raised here and to come back after 30 years, and it still feels like home is a wonderful feeling. This home is very beautiful. And it has everything you could need. Except for laundry soap. Lol. The best thing is that it is right next to the beach. Hearing the sea lions all night was very relaxing.

Negative: For us. The bed was too small, and the fan in the bedroom didn't work. With no AC, this was a must for us. But we opened all the windows, and with the fans, it worked out great.

Positive: It was a perfect place for the weekend. Everything you need and nothing you don't .

Negative: The people upstairs the first morning all woke up at 530 am and started playing pool and loud music and stomped around so much a big picture fell off the wall . It was impossible to go back to sleep

Positive: The location is prime. The bikes, kayak, coolers, and boogie board were convenient. The place was clean inside, and the bed was comfortable. We are in love with Silver Strand beach, and the location is literally a direct ocean view and quick walk across the street to the ocean where seals, sailboats, surfing, and sand dollars are abundant.

Negative: The duplex has zero soundproofing to the upstairs neighbors. You can hear every single word they say and footstep they take. Unfortunately, even if they were not being loud, the noise of people simply being upstairs is a nuisance when trying to sleep. Water fluctuates between cold and dangerously hot randomly. No stove top. The place is quite basic, not for those seeking luxury.

Positive: SImple layout and easy to get in and out. Was nice that had things stocked in there like toiletries and towels.

Negative: The lighting situation was either too bright or too dark, no good middle ground on the lighting everywhere except for the bathroom.

Summary: It was a cool lil spot and close to a bunch of things.
