Positive: Great location near the beach. Plenty of room for our family.

Negative: Hot tub did not work, person came to service on day 3 and said they were having trouble and she’d need to contact her supervisor. Error code on tub and only lukewarm for entire stay. Frogs swimming in hot tub on arrival. Floors seem to have been recently redone as smell of stain/sealer was present. Dust was everywhere, garbage from previous occupants under sink, items from previous occupants left on a bed, furniture legs on cabinet, dishes and cabinet in kitchen dirty. Called management company and they sent a cleaner the next day. Had to be out of house for cleaner and they were still there 4 hours after we left. Doorknobs still caked in dust after cleaner left. No follow up from management company after cleaners were there.

Summary: Great location, cleanliness / facilities not what was expected

Positive: The location to the beach was excellent. We had a medical situation with a family member and the host worked with us by allowing us to check in early. Very nice and thoughtful. The house has plenty of room and the outdoor patio furniture was very nice.

Negative: The host had 5 beach chairs and umbrellas locked to a post in plain view. We were told these items are off limits to guests. If that is the case, may want to store them out of sight. Another option would be to make them available. Nobody likes to use luggage space to haul beach chairs and umbrellas to a beach location. Some of the outdoor lights overlooking the hot tub were not functional.

Summary: Excellent location and beautiful house.

Positive: Home looked exactly as pictured. It’s very close to the beach. The property was very comfortable and relaxing! plenty of seating outside…ceiling fans on the porch were a big plus! it is also located in close proximity to restaurants and activities!

Negative: Has nothing to do with the actual property, but there is construction going on and it wasn’t ideal getting awakened to the sound of nail guns and cement trucks on a few mornings. The dishwasher wasn’t working…which wasn’t ideal because nobody wants to wash dishes on vacation…but the staff informed us of the issue and gave us a Giftcard for our trouble, which was nice.

Summary: This property was a nice home away from home.
