Positive: This was our first visit to Agistri after a gap of 20 years. We received a warm welcome after arriving earlier than the agreed booking in time and were shown to our spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped room. Excellent location, close to all amenities and the beach. A nice view from the room with a balcony. The breakfast was outstanding consisting of a number of courses of home made traditional products. The staff were all friendly and helpful. It would be our first port of call, should we return.

Summary: A great place to stay on a beautiful island.

Positive: The location is great, really central. Beautiful building, style and decoration. Breakfast was really good, fresh and delicious. The waiter and the cook were very nice and friendly. The room had a nice porch. They cleaned the room every day.

Negative: There were a few issues in the room: The shower had no protected boundary and the water would flood the entire bathroom. There were spots with open electricity wire in the bathroom and due to the water from the shower it is unsafe. There are a lot of mosquitoes in the area and the room had no mosquito net to prevent them from coming in. (Which is quite basic in our opinion). The hot water was limited. The staff at the reception were friendly but had no accurate information regarding things on the island. The hotel shuttle doesn't operate due to end of season.

Negative: More power points in our accommodation would have been better.

Positive: Great location close to beach and port and restaurants, comfortable room with porch, delicious breakfast

Negative: -The hotel name says “Adults Only” but there were guests with a toddler who made a lot of noise at breakfast and in general. Not really acceptable since most people choose adults only hotels with the expectation of not seeing and hearing other people’s children. -Porch door needs black out drapes, cleaning and maintenance could be improved, toilet seat did not cover the toilet, too many cats wandering around and begging for food

Positive: We really enjoyed our stay at the Saronis Hotel. It has a real low key beach vibe which we absolutely loved. So much thought and attention has gone into every aspect of this hotel, from the perfectly clean rooms to lounge area at the front and the courtyard at the rear. The staff were all lovely and friendly and the breakfast alone is well worth the stay, everything freshly made and different each day. We used the laundry service during our stay and were very impressed with the speed and standard at which it returned, all perfectly folded and smelling amazing. We’d stay again without hesitation when back in Agistri.
