Positive: The breakfast buffet food was ample and a variety for every taste. Couldn't fault it at all. We dined once for a buffet dinner which again was in abundance. Al a carte wasn't to my liking as you were served in a separate dining area to which my husband and I were seated in quite a souless part of the hotel. Not in the main dining area. We were the only al a carte diners!!! Taxis were called efficiently by staff which were reasonably priced.

Negative: Not enough English speaking staff. We only met one person, Anna who was excellent when on duty, but not on obviously the whole time. Think we were the only English speaking guests in the hotel! Every instruction and menu in two languages...Chinese and Russian! Beach area could've done with a clean up. Most in Europe are swept by machine after the end of the day!

Positive: Clean , 2 swimming pools , 15 minutes walk to the beach. Kids will be happy to play in the play room. Room is comfortable and clean. Breakfast is good.

Positive: Great new hotel. Friendly staff. Good service. Clean. Lovely people at reception who could speak English. Breakfast was great, mostly Chinese style, which is fine with me.

Negative: I didn’t like choice of fruit for breakfast. I ended up not eating fruit served. Not a big deal as there were plenty of great and affordable fruit sold in the hood. I didn’t like shower mixer. Cheap and inconvenient. Other than this, bathroom and toilet is top notch (Electrical bidet by Kohler). Hotel WiFi kinda slow, no access to many western apps, but this is easy to solve with affordable cel eSIM plans from 3d party. Dadunhai Bay beach sucks due to very small areas where it’s allowed to swim. Those often were too crowded. I had visited this place many times before and there were never any problems when the whole beach was accessible for swimming.

Summary: I suggest putting in rooms a coffee machine.
