Positive: Traditional old luxury (hardwood and stone materials combined with beautifully landscaped outdoor areas) that has aged well. Spacious comfortable rooms.

Negative: Restaurant waiting staff poorly trained. Outside of breakfast buffet (which requires only basic individual service), staff struggled to cope. Lots of giggling and chatting to each other rather than helping guests and obvious disorganisation. A real shame as this lets down the rest of the hotel. Overall this service would not be competitive outside of Hainan island.

Summary: Beautiful old hotel that has weathered well. Staff need more training to reach the standard of other 5 star hotels.

Negative: Staff at the concierge desk is taking its percentage on all taxis and car rentals with driver, which I consider as not normal in a high-end hotel. It is the client who should decide on tips. We were not able to take one regular taxi. You are automatically considered as being a Russian. Arriving late at night, we had to insist to receive a high floor room with twin separate beds, as requested. It took us one hour negotiating.

Positive: Overall the hotel was clean and comfortable. It has a nice facilities which the travelers could enjoy their stay within the hotel. They upgraded our room for some reason and I can definitely say that we had a blast here. And of course thanks to Ms. Maria, we were able to communicate our needs with the hotel stuff smoothly. She was indeed really helpful in many ways. We will definitely suggest this place for anyone who is looking for a place to enjoy their vacation in Sanya.

We arrived early in the morning, and the staff kindly provided our room right away — such a nice gesture after a long flight. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with everything needed for a relaxing holiday. Special thanks to Maria at the reception — she speaks Russian and was extremely helpful throughout our stay. Her support and kindness made our vacation truly enjoyable! 💐 The beach is clean and well maintained, there are plenty of sunbeds, and the whole territory is green and beautiful. Bars, restaurants, and pools are excellent — everything is top quality. It’s a calm and relaxing place, perfect for a peaceful getaway. We will definitely come back again — the hotel fully met and even exceeded our expectations!

A special thanks to Maria, the guest manager, for her kindness and attention - she made my stay truly comfortable. When my flight was suddenly canceled, the hotel arranged an extra night quickly and smoothly. Everything was handled with such professionalism and warmth. The cute teddy bear gift was the sweetest touch! 🧸 Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Sanya.

Positive: The room was very clean, spacious and views over looking the pools and grounds are wonderful. The lobby is really grand with many places to sit and relax. The grounds are beautiful and were kept immaculate. The pools and beach staff were very attentive and always found a place for us to lounge. And most importantly was Maria the front desk manager, she is the one who made our trip extra special. She recommended great places to visit, shop and eat. She helped us with any and every questions we had, and even checked in on me and my wife on her day off. It’s people like Maria who go the extra mile and make your trip unforgettable. We cannot wait to return to Pullman.

A special thank you to manager Maria, who was an outstanding help in any situation - truly going above and beyond to make the stay perfect. Communication with Mandy at the reception was also very productive and pleasant, which made check-in and upgrade request smooth and easy.

Negative: No WiFi, but as I understand it’s reality in China. But I got eSIM in advance, so it was ok. Prices in restaurants of hotel are quite high, so I would recommend to have lunch in nearby cafes. But cash is needed
