Positive: We appreciated having two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom (not all properties offer this, so it’s important to check the listing details carefully). We also liked the free parking, the fully equipped kitchen, and the overall cleanliness, especially the bathrooms and bed linen. However, although the bed linen was clean, there were no extra blankets available in case it got cold. Compared to nearby hotels, the property offered good value for money and is located in a clean and safe area. With a car, it is relatively close to the main attractions in the area.

Negative: Customer support was extremely poor from the very beginning. Although the reservation had free cancellation until close to arrival, the property charged our prepaid card immediately after booking, first taking a $500 “deposit” and later charging the full remaining amount months before arrival, despite assuring us it would be charged only one month before the stay. After reading other reviews, we became concerned about how difficult refunds seem to be. Communication was confusing and stressful. We received repeated online check-in warnings even after completing it, which made us uncomfortable and unsure whether the messages were legitimate. Upon arrival, the check-in details were incorrect and we were initially sent to the wrong apartment. After calling support and waiting while paying high roaming fees, the issue was resolved. Parking information was also inconsistent, which resulted in us unknowingly occupying someone else’s parking space and receiving a complaint. We then had serious issues with the heating. The gas heaters initially did not work, and support kept delaying without solving the problem. When they eventually turned on, they made strange noises, smelled burnt, and triggered the carbon monoxide alarm. For safety reasons, we stopped using them and stayed in a cold apartment (~19°C). We reported this, but never received a response. Overall, the lack of care, poor communication, and serious technical issues made our stay very uncomfortable. I would not book this property again.

Positive: The location was good. We were close enough to the things we wanted to see in LA. The area was safe, residential and the car parking was secure. The apartment was large enough and the kitchen had everything we needed for a short stay. Instructions and communications were good with the team when we needed help with WiFi and parking access.

Negative: Initially the WiFi was not working. There was a musty smell in the whole apartment. The sofa bed was not comfy, mattress was very thin and basic bedding provided (flat pillows and blankets) which didn’t seem freshly laundered. The bedroom was fine, but wouldn’t recommend if you need to use the sofa bed. The shower curtain was full of black mould on the inside. There was a delay in returning our deposit (took 2 weeks) and they only shared there was an issue when we asked where the deposit was. Although, they were able to directly transfer the deposit in the end.

Negative: The check in is tooooo complicated and the information about parking is wrong! It takes us 59 mins to finish the check in. The furniture is broken and not very clean. And apartment is not the one on the listing. I reported about missing pieces of curtain and one window cannot be closed but the sales team didn’t reply about the issues during the stay.
