Summary: My 4th stay in Sandcastles. A super apartment in an excellent location. Always immaculately clean and well equipped. Very comfortable. The two flights of concrete steps up to the apartment may be challenging to some.

Summary: Great apartment for a couple in great location with easy access to mawgan porth. Apartment is well presented however on arrival the kitchen tops and hob were abit grubby and windows and balcony were also in need of a really good clean. Although it sleeps 4 people would recommend best for a couple stay due to space and seating. One thing that is very much needed is a coffee or side table in living room and bedroom as there is nowhere to put down a mug or plate unless your sitting at the dining booth

Summary: I have stayed in a couple of the places available to book in Europa Court & this apartment by far has been my favourite - the balcony where you can see the sea is brilliant! Europa court is the perfect location for a Cornish Holiday & I hope to return for many years. The apartment was well equipped & decorated in a lovely modern way - you can tell it is very well looked after! We really hope to return to 11 Europa Court in the future!

Summary: A niceley appointed apartment, very convenient for beach and shops. Extremely clean and fresh. The only things which would have enhanced our stay would be an ice compartment in the fridge (or a small freezer), a coffee table in sitting room area and bedside tables. However these are very small adjustments.

Summary: Great location as walking distance to beach, looked like the apartment had been recently renovated so was in very good condition. Minor downside was that there was no freezer so couldn't prepare cool bags for picnics.

Summary: This is my second stay in Sandcastles. The apartment is very well appointed, clean and convenient for the beach and shops but at the same time very quiet. The only improvement I would make is the addition of a coffee table in the lounge area as there is absolutely nowhere to res a drink when seated on the sofa. The carpet is too thick to put a drink safely on the floor. Also I found that there was not enough hot water for a bath, it ran cool after the bah was only about 6 inches deep even though the tank was full after a day of no hot water use. I will be booking the property again in the future.

Summary: We have visited Europa Court a number of times over the past 20 years as Mawgan Porth is beautiful location and a fantastic beach. Sandcastles flat has a good feel about it and has been tastefully decorated and we had an excellent holiday. However what lets it down is a number of things. For the price one pays they could have supplied a coffee table as relaxing in the evening with a drink or watching tv there’s nowhere to put glasses etc. We had to use the table that was on the balcony. In the photographs of the flat on the balcony it shows 2 wicker type chairs with arm rests and matching table, but what actually was there were 2 rusting metal chairs with a matching rusting table and the balcony floor had rust on it. Unfortunately the linings on all the curtains were flaking which meant as soon as you moved them more of the lining fell out. We mentioned this to the cleaner on leaving who said she had mentioned it to the owner a number of times. Again for the price paid there was a lack of some basic items. An old dust pan and brush is not sufficient in a beach location. A vacuum cleaner or least a long handled brush would not go amiss. There is no freezer which may have something to do with the size of the kitchen. It’s unfortunate to give a negative review as the owner has gone to some lengths and expense to decorate the flat and supply comfortable beds tv’s in all rooms etc. In it’s present condition it really lets it down. Would we visit Sandcastles again? Yes and hope the above constructive comments have been taken on board.

Summary: Location and pool could not be any better. Well furnished but curtains are beginning to crumble and bath was not draining well. Care taker was lovely.

Summary: Occupied by 4 adults. Other family members also had accommodation in Europa court. Good accommodation with parking, very clean upon arrival furniture on the balcony needs replacing it’s rusty. Everything you need in the apartment apart from a washing machine this is really needed as there isn’t a laundry on site we ended up using the machine in number 3. Really enjoyed the break.

Summary: Lovely located and decorated apartment with easy access to local shops and beach. Couple of small things that need addressing is the lack of bedside tables/cabinets in both bedrooms and freezer in kitchen... or even a top of fridge freezer compartment. Apart from this I totally enjoyed my stay..... and would return again.
