The location was perfect—just a two-minute walk from the nature reserve and only a short stroll to the dock and the main street, making it easy to explore the area. The property itself feels like a peaceful oasis, surrounded by beautiful gardens and lush greenery that create a private, relaxing atmosphere. Our suite was spotless, exceptionally well maintained, and we really appreciated the property’s commitment to being environmentally friendly. One of the highlights was the beautiful rooftop area, which offered stunning views and was the perfect place to relax. The property also offers yoga, adding to the peaceful and rejuvenating atmosphere. The staff were incredibly welcoming, responsive, and always happy to help. They brought such warm, positive energy throughout our stay and made us feel right at home. They had also just opened a new café on-site, which looked fantastic and is a great addition to the property. I would highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting San Marcos. It was the perfect combination of comfort, nature, and tranquility.

Positive: I had a wonderful stay as a solo traveler! The location was incredibly central, making it easy to explore the area and get to everything I wanted to see. The property itself is very beautiful and very “instagramable” The room was fully equipped with everything I needed which was really helpful. I loved the open layout and natural light (super important to me). Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. Great stay!

Positive: We had the best stay at Sarnai and will definitely be returning. The location was absolutely perfect and located close to town while being close to nature. Sarnai is located right next to the natural reserve. The accommodations were clean, modern and comfortable. The host Harsimar was very accommodating and responsive. All the water in the unit is filtered. Even the bathtub! WiFi was also strong.

Negative: That we couldn’t stay longer.

Summary: Epic modern comfort in a super volcano.
