Positive: This property is very well located near the main street of San Marcos. It is new. The bed is really comfortable. Amenities include a small potent hair dryer and a standing fan. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, cutlery and complimentary salt, oil, sugar.

Negative: The photograph shown on the website does not match the room that was given to us. Instead of letting us know in advance, the host called 20 minutes before we arrived. It being the high season we couldn't have booked another accommodation even if we wanted to. We stayed 4 nights and not once were we asked if we needed the very small trash bag in the bathroom changed. The heater for the shower is solar powered and we were told it was best to use it in certain hours of the day. It didn't matter the time, the water was never lukewarm enough for long enough, let alone hot. The toilet is also in the shower, right next to it, past the shower curtain. So if someone had showered the floor was really wet. The kitchen had a trash can for organic waste but no trash can for the rest of type of waste. In general, we wouldn't stay again if these things aren't improved upon. And the photograph set the wrong expectation from the beginning.

Positive: The owner was kind and flexible in finding solutions, the view is great and the outside bathroom is very nice.

Negative: The house was not at the advertised location, the room was extremely noisy (the roof is open on the sides and it's just a metal plate, so noisy when raining or when birds are on it), it leaked at two places when raining heavily, most pictures from the ad are from other apartments, wifi was sometimes very bad. Overall the advertisement needs to be clearer and the room needs an upgrade to be worth the price, it does has potential.

Negative: The pictures are not related to this property at all. Also we didn’t get hot water because of some power electricity issue and it was really cold
