The San Juan Grand Retreat was built in 2017. Thoughtfully designed as a place that has something for every family member and filled with amenities to relax. When you walk out the front door you have immediate access to the San Juan National Forest and Turkey Springs trail system. Less than a mile down the road you will find beautiful Lake Hatcher. If you feel like escaping the forest, you are a short 15-minute drive to the grocery stores, restaurants, downtown Pagosa, and the amazing hot springs. You can also escape for some of the most sought after skiing at Wolfe Creek which is only 33 miles away.
In the actual house you will find a state-of-the-art kitchen with a gas range and newer appliances. The upstairs consists of 3 bedrooms (2 queens and 1 king), 2 full baths, family room, and a washer/dryer. Downstairs you will find 2 bedrooms (2 twins and 1 king), 2 full bathrooms, a kitchenette, large family room, a second washer/dryer, and a game/workout room. Outside you will find a deck on the front of the house, a private hot tub for 8, and beautiful views to admire.
Escape to this mountain retreat and have full access to a spacious ranch home with walk out basement via the new internal staircase. Also, no need to worry about keeping track of keys. This home is equipped with self check-in and check-out processes.

There is a state of the art radiant heating system that has easy to understand directions in the guest book. Summary: Great house! The host was by far the best at communicating prior to our trip and during our stay. Location was fantastic. Close to downtown and a very easy drive to the mountains for skiing. Will definitely return in the future.

Summary: Our family decided to meet in Pagosa to celebrate my in-law's 60th wedding anniversary. There was 10 of us. The house we very nice and clean and nicely appropriated. I think there may be a typo on the # of bathrooms. There were 4 not 8 :). There were starters for most items (ie: hand soap, dish soap, TP....we weren't staying for long, however we did have to purchase more TP and bring paper towels....not a big deal, but it would have been good to know). We really enjoyed the home and would definitely recommend it!

Summary: We had a large party (6 adults, 4 kids) and had plenty of room! Property had 2 kitchens- we just used the upstairs kitchen but it had plenty of utensils/ cookware for us! 3 bedrooms/ 2 bathrooms upstairs and another 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms downstairs. Downstairs has a fun little room with a foosball table and a dumbbell set up to 30-35 lbs. 2 washer and dryers in this property! property also had a few extra sleds for our kiddos to use. Bethany was an amazing host! Quick to respond with any questions we had. Would stay here again!
