Positive: Our stay at this hotel in the Georgian mountains was nothing short of spectacular. The moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking views of the mountains, which set the perfect backdrop for our getaway. The interior of the hotel is beautifully designed, with furniture that perfectly complements the natural beauty surrounding it. Positive: The hotel, set in the stunning Svaneti region, offers breathtaking mountain views and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived, ensuring a smooth check-in. My room was comfortable and had a lovely balcony perfect for enjoying morning coffee with a view. The hotel's restaurant was a highlight, with delicious local and international dishes. The traditional Svanetian cuisine, especially the kubdari and tashmijabi, was outstanding. Breakfast each morning was plentiful and delicious. A special experience during my stay was a picnic organized by the hotel team. They arranged a trip to a beautiful mountain spot where we enjoyed a spread of local delicacies, surrounded by nature's beauty. It was a memorable and unique way to experience Mestia.
Negative: Hotel rooms do not have a minibar, sometimes it is inconvenient when you get back late from the walks It is somewhat located remote from the village, so you have to ask for the shuttle or Taxi to get back to the hotel also the dinner and lunch are available only at set times, rather than the whole evening

Positive: The chalet is nestled above the town so very quiet and private, but you can reach the main attractions very quickly by car. The property itself is beautifully made and the rooms are cozy and modern. Breakfast was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. They very kindly allowed us to do our gender reveal in the centre courtyard area, which gave us some beautiful memories and photos.
Negative: Unfortunately the management of the place was a let-down. I think we were amongst the first guests to stay here, so I would normally give the benefit of the doubt if the stay wasn’t so expensive. We were here on our baby-moon so opted to pay extra in the hopes we’d be fully taken care of, but unfortunately that wasn’t the case. Just the simple idea of having dinner in the chalet was a hassle; being pregnant, I didn’t want to have to book dinner 8 hours in advance, if I am hungry in the moment, I’d like to be able to eat, but even though the kitchen was ‘around the clock’ they simply avoided cooking us things at night. We tried to book a horse riding guide through the chalet management, but upon driving the 45 minutes to reach our guide, we were faced with an unprepared horse, the guide telling us to go alone up a mountain and no communication (we later concluded the ‘guide’ was most likely a friend of the management who just happened to own a horse). The cost of a bottle of water was insanely high. The wifi was down pretty much permanently. In my opinion, management is unprepared for international guests that have a high standard of hospitality.
Summary: Beautiful to look at, pleasant to stay at, but don’t expect to be taken care of.
