Positive: We came to Mestia ready to explore, but the moment we reached In The Forest, we didn’t want to leave. The cabin sits high in the mountains, quiet and secluded, yet still visible from town. Surrounded by trees, with stunning views and fresh mountain air—it felt like a dream. We spent our days by the fireplace, sipping coffee and soaking in the stillness. Birdsong, rustling leaves, and the view made us forget about everything else. It was the kind of peace we didn’t know we needed—absolutely perfect!
Negative: A microwave would have been beneficial

Positive: It's a cabin completely nestled in the forest with excellent views and panoramic views of the town, especially at night, which are really peaceful and stunning. Every day you can see the sunrise shining over the snow-capped mountains across the street, slowly until it shines over the whole town. The master bedroom and living room have huge windows, so you don't have to leave the house to see the sunrise and sunset rays falling on the snow-capped mountains. The large deck in front of the house is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the view, as well as hear the sounds of the animals in the forest. A small wood-burning room on one side provides a constant source of heat for the room's fireplace, and the occasional physical activity makes the whole trip even more enjoyable.
Negative: The landlord could make some contacts with some taxis and ski instructors to provide some co-operative travel options. When we refused the rip-offs in town, they didn't seem so friendly
Summary: One of the best trips of my life.

The cottage itself was unique, cozy, and beautifully designed. What truly made our experience special were the amazing hosts—so kind, helpful, and welcoming.
