Positive: The place is very well curated with care and good taste. It’s an option that is super close by of Tayrona Park and gives you an immersion in nature and side by side with the river, which is very clean and perfect for enjoy. The garden is amazing also the cabanas. Service is kind.
Negative: The food is suuuuuuper slow, if you planing arrive early on Tayrona consider skip breakfast otherwise you will be late. If you have problems with frogs and this type of animals, maybe is not the place for you, it’s really nature.
Summary: Amazing Stay!

Positive: My stay at this place was far beyond a regular vacation. It was a deep experience of truly disconnecting from routine and reconnecting with nature, with quiet, and with simplicity. The atmosphere allows you to pause, breathe, and feel something different. Cleaner, calmer and simple. What really makes this place special is the people. An exceptional team, caring and full of heart. Alejandra was simply wonderful. Warm, kind, and always attentive to the small details. Catherine showed impressive professionalism and handled every request quickly and thoroughly. And Alba… no words. Her food is an experience in itself. Creative, rich in flavor, and truly unforgettable. Thank you for a real experience, one that stays with me long after you leave.
Summary: A perfect balance of calm, connection, and authenticity.

Positive: I recently stayed at Salvia Madre in Colombia and had a wonderful experience overall. The service was truly excellent — the staff were warm, attentive, and always willing to help, which made the stay feel very welcoming and relaxed. One of the highlights is the stunning natural setting. The accommodation is surrounded by beautiful nature, making it a perfect place to unwind and enjoy the peaceful environment. Waking up to the sounds of nature and the views around the property was really special. The restaurant also deserves a special mention. The food was delicious, fresh, and clearly prepared with care. It was a treat to be able to enjoy such good meals without leaving the property. One memorable detail was the access road: after a storm it had become quite adventurous to reach the accommodation. While it added a bit of excitement to the arrival, it also made the experience feel even more remote and immersed in nature. All in all, Salvia Madre is a lovely place to stay if you’re looking for great service, beautiful surroundings, and excellent food.
Negative: nothing!
Summary: Fantasic stay!

Positive: Stunning location, beautiful room, fantastic food in the restaurant and polite staff. Good large sized room with a nice shower. River nearby is nice for swimming. The hotel is close to the Tayrona Park and the staff is happy to help you arrange a motortaxi to the Tayrona hike.
Negative: Everything was great, but if I had to give some improvement points: because the climate in the area is very humid and warm, and being in the middle of nature the room becomes dirty quite easily. It would have been nice to have a more frequent towel, bedsheet and room cleaning. We did not get anything refreshed during our stay. Make explicit if you’d like to pay with card when booking taxis, the assumption is paying with cash.
Summary: Comfortable
