Positive: The hosts, Maya and Jahir, were extremely welcoming and nice. The room is small but it has a great balcony with a hammock and fantastic sea views. It's located on a very nice beach near the river where you can swim with great views.

Positive: Can you give a place a perfect rating?! This is a true gem. A new build of gorgeous teak throughout, with thoughtful design principals make this the very vision of boho chic. All set in a lively (but not too noisy), beautiful beach just outside Tayrona. A mangrove set out back which if you are lucky you will spot the howler monkeys from on the rooftop deck. The true ecological bonus is the clear waters of the river located a perfect stroll down the beach. I marvelled at the wildlife, seeing my first ever toucans! Beautiful waterfalls within day tripping distance as well as the park.

Negative: A little short on lounge furniture since this is a brand new facility, but the lovely attentive owners are working on this (and by the time you read this might already solved)

Summary: The perfect 3-4 day beach retreat with located on one of the most chill beaches in the country

Positive: Right on the beach so great views. Lovely ppl managing the place too.

Negative: The rooms are really small so much so that you need to shimmy side ways to get into one of the sides. Other places along the beach are cheaper and offer breakfast. They all look very similar so I'd probably book one of them next time. Depends on your budget! The beach was too dangerous to swim in which was disappointing. We saw at least 6 ppl get knocked off their feet standing on the shore because the waves were so strong. Defs not a beginner surf beach because the waves on the shore are too intense and break too close together but if you've got some experience and are happy to paddle out the back through rips and a few dumpers you'll be sweet.

Summary: Beautiful view but small.
