Summary: The house was perfect for a quiet, relaxing vacation. We enjoyed opening the windows, listening to the ocean and letting the breeze come through the main living space on the third level. The drive up the beach to Corolla took only about 10 minutes so it was easy to get to restaurants, stores and other attractions.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at the salty anchorHad everything we neededHouse was as advertised and beds were comfortable It was nice having the pool table in the basement. Location was perfect, not too far down the beach and saw horses every day. Jo was very responsive and helpful. This was our first trip to OBX and we would love to come back

Summary: This was the perfect vacation. The views of the sunrise and horses were amazing. We even spotted a foal. It was my daughter’s literal dream come true. You do need a 4x4 vehicle to get there, and I’d recommend timing your trips in and out with the tides. The host was incredible and responsive, and we had no issues at all with the property. The beds were incredibly comfy.
