Salt Cottage is a beautifully renovated 60's Australian beach house, perfectly located just a 1-minute stroll from dog-friendly Werri Beach, and a 2 minute drive from Gerringong village. The spacious 3-bedroom bungalow backs onto peaceful Werri Lagoon and offers lovely views of lush gardens, abundant birdlife, and distant mountains.
Designed for comfort and relaxation, the house features two separate indoor lounge rooms, each with a TV and Netflix in rear lounge, an outdoor lounge area, plus various alfresco dining options on the wrap-around verandahs. Large decks on three sides of the house capture the sea breezes in summer and the warm winter sun. There’s even a private pontoon with a canoe for exploring the lagoon.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials and there’s an outdoor gas BBQ for dining al fresco. Guests can enjoy local award-winning cafes, restaurants, and nearby wineries. In cooler months, a cosy wood fire keeps things warm, while reverse-cycle air-conditioning ensures year-round comfort. Free Wi-Fi is provided, and high-quality linens and towels are supplied—just bring your beach towels!
The house is fully fenced, making it ideal for children and pets, with a large dog bed provided. The beach offers a leash-free area just 200m away, making it dog heaven.

Summary: We loved Salt Cottage and Werri Beach. For years we used to stop at Gerringong for a break when heading further south so decided it was time to spend a few days and really check out the area. Salt Cottage was the perfect house for our family of 5 adults and pup. The location is incredible - backing onto the lagoon for fishing and canoeing, 2 minutes walk to the dog friendly beach, easily connecting to the Kiama Coastal walk. Bowlo at the end of the street and 3 golf courses within 15 mins! There's an IGA and cafes 5 mins drive away. The house is clean and comfortable with everything (literally!) you need for a great family holiday. We are planning our return :)

Summary: We want to live there -just too gorgeous and so easy! everything linen, beds, pillows, living areas, bathrooms and the kitchen especially were beautifully appointed, sophisticated taste and soo relaxing. Summary: This lovely single level property is only one block from the centre of Werri Beach where you and your furry friend can play and swim. The house is immaculately clean and has everything you need for a stylish and relaxed beach break. The property backs onto the creek and has a nice, shaded verandah looked out toward it. Takeaway food shop and bowling club within walking distance, as is the start of the Gerringong to Kiama Walk. The owner is very communicative, and all house features/rules are clearly explained. Would definitely return.
