Positive: Located just a few steps from a clean, sandy beach with a gentle entrance and no crowds, the villa offers ideal conditions for enjoying a dream vacation: privacy, comfort, all the amenities for self-catering if you wish, but also good taverns nearby if you prefer dining out. I really enjoyed the peace and quiet, the fact that you could sunbathe on your own terrace while watching and listening to the sea waves, with a coffee or a beer in hand. The outdoor shower with hot and cold water was a bonus. The beach was wonderful—clean water, fine sand, with no rocks, seaweed, or shells. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, so we preferred to cook at home using fresh fish, since just a few minutes away in the village of Sykia there’s a shop with fresh fish, as well as a supermarket with fresh vegetables and fruit, making everything pleasant and easy. There’s also a grill area in the yard, but we chose to use the stove for convenience.

Negative: Minor issue: the tap water is yellowish and slightly salty, so don’t use it for coffee or cooking.

Positive: The location is just perfect! Direct to the beach and up a hill for a beautiful sunrise, overseeing mount Athos. The beach is sandy and due to the time of the year empty. On the terrace the sun is shining the whole day, so taking breakfasts or self cooked meals is very pleasant. The beds are comfortable and shower is nice (no cheap plastic curtain, but very nice glass and tiles). An earlier check-in free of charge was possible and parking places are no problem. The host is very friendly and helpful (there was an electricity problem and the host organized within minutes an electrician, even though it was a national holiday).

Negative: A dishwasher would be nice and maybe a bigger knife. The water in the tap and shower is slightly salty, might be an issue if you are traveling with kids.

Positive: The closeness to the sea, the tranquility, the stunning beach, and the comfortable and well-equipped apartments that have everything you need. The landlord is available and courteous.

Negative: There’s no grass in the summer, as shown in the pictures. The tap water is salty. The air conditioning is in the living room only, not in the bedrooms. It was a bit warm.
